LIHEAP Direct Vendor Payment
LIHEAP DVP is designed to assist income-eligible household with winter energy services, in the form of aa one-time benefit payment to the utility companies that are applied directly to the household's energy bills. The amount of the payment is determined by income, household size, and fuel type.
Eligible applicants may receive a one-time bill payment towards your gas, propane and electrical utility bills. Applicants may receive one grant per household per program year.
The documents have to be within the 30 days prior date to your application.
- Proof of current light and gas bill. If your light and/or gas is disconnected you must bring the disconnetion notice along with your current or last bill.
- Social Security CARDS of every member of the household.
- Proof of income for the last 30 days.
- Letter of your benetifs from the social security office of this year (2008).

- Bi-weekly- 2 checks stubs.
- Monthly- 1 check stub
- Check stub for child support.
- Benetifs of TANF (medical card only if you receive cash).
