Viva Aztlán Festival

The First Viva Aztlán Festival was held in OCtober 1975. This event's aim was to bring awareness of Mexican culture to the Pilsen Latino Community. Local artists and performers displayed their talents within an entertaining, cheerful, informative, and an enriching event. The festival was enjoyed by thousands of participants regardless of age, race, ethinicity, creed, or gender. This event had given the Mexican Community a sense of accomplishment and ethnic pride.

Viva Aztlán is our annual festival which usually takes place during the Summer. We host both local and international musicians, performers, artists, artistans, local food vendors and most recently a collective art show. Viva Aztlán festival is free of cost and community oriented. But unlike other festivals, Viva Aztlán is alcohol and tabacco-free.

Viva Aztlán is our yearly fundraiser event; however your individual support is also appreciated.
